ESSENTIAL DUTIES Convert warm leads into closed sales accounts. Work directly with clients to lead the custom cabinetry sales and design process. Assist in maintaining long lasting relationships with clients (i.e., routinely check in with clients whose projects were finished to determine if they have other projects that VHC can assist with). Manage the production of design approval drawings. Lead the customer selections process with regards to finishes, door styles, cabinet accessories, etc. Conduct jobsite measurements and accurately record applicable site conditions. Develop and maintain open communication and a strong working relationship with in-house teams (Sales, Engineering, Production, and Installation). Develop and maintain strong relationships with repeat builders, designers, and clients. Ability to maintain focus while working individually. Strong time management skills to stay on track. Stay up to date with new trends and products to curate beautiful, functional, and smart spaces for our clients. Assist clients in showroom and help complete walk throughs and communicate possible custom cabinetry options. Be a subject matter expert in all products offered by VHC. Create proposals based on client specifications. Go on site to client locations to assist with taking measurements and sketching up details of the work order. Enter updates as needed in Contact Management System (i.e., SmartSheets, CRM/ERP system). Build and maintain referral relationships with industry vendors (such as architects, builders, kitchen & bath designers, interior designers, engineers). Maintain relationships with VHC clients. Cultivate robust relationships with clients and suppliers for long-term collaboration. Assist with market research to uncover growth opportunities. Coordinate with the Marketing department to align strategies. Provide consistent sales support for client satisfaction. Attend events on behalf of VHC (i.e., events at VHC showroom, industry events, networking events). Demonstrate strong time management, multitasking, and customer service skills. Deliver exceptional customer service. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 5 years of experience in, at a senior level, designing custom, modular cabinetry, and architectural millwork. 5 years' experience in cabinetry project management preferred. Proficiency utilizing cabinetry design software (20/20, Chief Architect, Cabinet Vision, SketchUp, AutoCAD, etc.). Strong space planning, organizational, and follow-up skills. Creative problem solver with a strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication with a professional presentation and attitude. Experience and ability to accurately take jobsite measurements and read a tape measure. Prefer candidates will have a bachelor's degree or 5 years of senior level working experience related to Interior Design, Architecture, or Construction Management.
