The Labor Compliance Analyst will be responsible for demonstrating strong attention to detail with an ability to perform professional and complex analytical work in support of union and statutory compliance policies and practices.
Responsibilities:
Provide a range of analyses and reports for employee data changes, according to labor contract rules, for union trust fund contributions
Data mining for data quality and cleansing to ensure accurate compliance with applicable labor contracts
Assist employees with benefits related questions, investigate participant issues, and provide problem resolution or identifies the issue for further review
Conduct research and analysis in anticipation of labor contract negotiations/changes
Generate and interpret reports according to labor contract rules
Respond to labor trust fund audits with reporting and analysis as required
Manage union data portals for reconciliation of invoices for contribution remittances
Support audit functions of current employee data to ensure data accuracy
Support business partners in analysis of employee data as needed
Troubleshoot data and reports
General project support and management as required by the HR Contracts team
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year College or University with a minimum of 2+ years related experience and/or training in labor compliance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read/interpret complex contract rules and apply rules to data
Meticulously provide precise and accurate work product with commitment to timely completion
Comfortable with short-term deadlines in fast-paced work environment
Proactively seeks answers to problems with business partners throughout the company
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and general proficiency in MS suite of applications
Team player with ability to respectfully manage internal customer expectations
Compensation: $70,000 - $72,000 per year
