About Our Client Our client is a leading law firm with a strong reputation for handling complex labor and employment matters. They represent both private and public employers in a variety of industries, offering expert advice on employment litigation, workplace investigations, and traditional labor law. Their team delivers top-tier legal services with a focus on client satisfaction and successful outcomes.
Job Description Represent employers in employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation claims, wage and hour disputes, class and collective actions, and federal/state employment law compliance.Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda.Conduct legal research and manage discovery processes.Handle depositions and witness interviews.Advise employers on employment law compliance, including ADA, FMLA, CFRA, and COVID-related regulations, as well as disability accommodations and leave policies.Potential to engage in labor relations, such as labor negotiations, grievances, and arbitrations.Qualifications 4-7 years of substantive experience in employment litigation.Strong understanding of California employment law.Experience with legal research, drafting, and discovery management.Trial or arbitration experience preferred.Ability to provide sound advice on federal and state labor laws.Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.Admission to the California Bar required.Why This is a Great Opportunity Work with a reputable law firm with a diverse client base.Hybrid work schedule offering flexibility.Competitive compensation and benefits package, including:Salary range: $160,000 - $200,000.Health insurance, 401(k) with partial match, and profit-sharing.Discretionary bonuses and reasonable billable hours requirement.Opportunity to grow your expertise in both litigation and advisory roles.This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to advance their career in labor and employment law while contributing to a growing practice in a collaborative environment.
