They represent both private and public employers in a variety of industries, offering expert advice on employment litigation, workplace investigations, and traditional labor law. Job Description Represent employers in employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation claims, wage and hour disputes, class and collective actions, and federal/state employment law complianceDraft motions, pleadings, and legal memorandaConduct legal research and manage discovery processesHandle depositions and witness interviewsAdvise employers on employment law compliance, including ADA, FMLA, CFRA, and COVID-related regulations, as well as disability accommodations and leave policiesPotential to engage in labor relations, such as labor negotiations, grievances, and arbitrationsQualifications 4-7 years of substantive experience in employment litigationStrong understanding of California employment lawExperience with legal research, drafting, and discovery managementTrial or arbitration experience preferredAbility to provide sound advice on federal and state labor lawsExcellent analytical, research, and writing skillsAdmission to the California Bar requiredWhy This is a Great Opportunity Work with a reputable law firm with a diverse client baseHybrid work schedule offering flexibilityCompetitive compensation and benefits package, including:Salary range: $160,000 - $200,000Health insurance, 401(k) with partial match, and profit-sharingDiscretionary bonuses and reasonable billable hours requirementOpportunity to grow your expertise in both litigation and advisory rolesThis is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to advance their career in labor and employment law while contributing to a growing practice in a collaborative environment.
