Responsibilities Provide legal advice on product development, marketing, and privacy matters for generative AI products. Review and assess product features and initiatives to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including data protection laws. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements, including vendor agreements, terms of service, and privacy policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy by design into product development processes. Develop and implement training programs regarding product compliance and privacy obligations for relevant teams. Monitor emerging legal trends and regulations impacting AI and privacy, advising leadership on potential implications. Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and stakeholders on legal matters relevant to product strategy. Requirements Jurist Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to practice law in relevant jurisdictions. 7+ years of experience in technology, product, and privacy law, preferably within a tech or AI-focused environment. Strong understanding of privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data protection laws. Proven experience in advising product teams on legal compliance and risk management. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, driving results with a solutions-oriented approach.
