Lead Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities: Commercial refrigeration equipment design (condensing units, unit coolers, and air-cooled condensers), also including but not limited to maintenance work to support manufacturing production, product investigations to support customer requests, and implementation and testing of refrigeration control systems. Size and select components associated with refrigeration systems including compressors, valves, air movers, motors, heat exchangers. Design refrigerant piping system. Calculate refrigeration loads using refrigerant properties. Create test procedures for units being developed. Qualify equipment for appropriate agency listing. Function as a high-performance technical expert in the Product Engineering department as a hands-on team member.
