You will own customer acquisition and conversion across the organization, partnering with Carta's individual business units to drive growth through both stand-alone Growth projects and in-product upsells and feature development.
Our ideal candidate is a seasoned Growth Product Manager who is savvy, curious, enjoys working cross-functionally, and can effectively define and communicate vision to leadership, balancing business needs with deep empathy for the user while confidently steering teams to execute with quality and velocity.
This person must be a self-starter who can work through ambiguity to lead projects from start to finish.
Finally, we are looking for someone who can inspire our teams and carry the banner for Growth as a discipline at Carta.

As a Lead Product Manager, Growth, you will play a crucial role in Carta's business success.
You will own Carta's various customer acquisition channels from top of funnel to conversion and be a key strategic player in how we optimize and extend our revenue driving initiatives.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to optimize, design, and conceive of 0-1 initiatives for the full range of Carta's customers: from C-corps to LLCs as well as fund managers, investors, tax experts, and our Carta service and delivery colleagues.

You will:
Drive all of Carta's in-app revenue across product lines, freemium products, in-app upsells and in-app cross-sells.
Define the roadmap of the Growth R&D team to maximize revenue.
Identify opportunities for new entry points, funnel conversion, and in-app advertising to drive more acquisition, activation, and revenue.
Own our in-app advertising end-to-end across several key locations in app.
Coordinate cross-functionally to implement growth infrastructure through-out our funnels that enable us to better reach our users.
The Team You'll Work With

You'll be joining our growth product team, who is responsible for driving in-app acquisition.
Growth product is a highly cross-functional organization focused on driving in-app revenue.
Growth product is responsible for building our freemium tools and products, our in-app upsell and upgrade flows, and our growth infrastructure like in-app chat and product-triggered emails.
Growth product works with marketing, sales, revops, core product and delivery, design, and many other teams to drive in-app revenue.

About You You are a motivated self-starter who has high levels of customer empathy.
You are a systems thinker and are able to break down complex problems into their component parts, understanding the levers available to you and estimate potential impact of each.
You are deeply analytical and data driven.
You feel comfortable digging into the numbers, can self-serve or partner with data science for complex asks, and are adept at pulling numbers into a narrative to present to cross-functional partners and leadership.
You have 5+ years of product management experience (ideally in growth product) or alternative experience on a growth team at a fast-growing startup.
You might have a background as a founder, a VC, or a high willingness to learn and understand the venture ecosystem and how Carta's product set provides value to users.
At Carta, you're not just an employee.
You're a builder who is creating infrastructure that accelerates innovation and empowers more ownership.
