We're currently seeking a highly motivated Lead Project Manager -BHS Program located in Denver, CO.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management and/or Engineering
Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess these skills and abilities
10+ years of
Project/Construction
Management experience with a preference for
experience working on large, baggage handling system projects
Requires extensive knowledge of construction-related processes, as well as a
thorough knowledge of industry practices
Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, alternative delivery systems,
components, commissioning, and project close-out
Ability to multitask or manage/support multiple projects simultaneously
Extensive written and verbal communication, organizational, and planning skills
Experience with Microsoft Office and industry project software packages
Responsibilities:
Overall management of BHS PMT staff
Daily and main point of contact for all design and construction implementations
Oversight of the project management team to ensure schedules and budgets are achieved
Create and nurture effective communication within DEN Special Projects BHS Program
Monitor Contractor's schedule performance; review progress against the approved baseline and assist in evaluation of Contractor's monthly updates
Monitor compliance with contractual obligations such as Management Plan, Quality Control Plan, Contractor's Safety Plan
Coordinate with DEN QA Manager to ensure coordination of day-to-day QA tasks during construction
Manage coordination between Contractor and DEN Operations and Maintenance
Coordinate with contractors and City & County of Denver AHJ to ensure inspections and final acceptance testing dates support the overall Program schedule
Review work-in-place to ensure compliance with technical requirements and operational and maintenance requirements.
Review, investigate, and advise on monthly contractor invoices and payment requests
Assist DEN with change order reviews for legitimacy and cost reasonableness
Manage issue tracking and follow up until resolution
Assist DEN in contract review and negotiations
Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings
Assist in RFI & Submittal review/response, and ensure they're tracked and incorporated appropriately into the final product
Monitor commissioning process and coordinate with Commissioning Agent
Manage punchlist process and assist in Project Closeout
Attend all major Owner/Contractor meetings
Review of concept baselines (estimates, schedules, scopes) for future phases
Assist in the development of monthly reports
Monitor contract document administration (contract changes, Bulletins, RFIs, etc.)
Adhere to client-specific electronic filing and filing for archives
Salary:
Pay to commensurate based on experience
Bonus Pay:
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management's discretion.
