Job Summary Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of English (English Education) in the Department of English with a preferred start date of August 2025. This is a nine-month contracted position. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia. Responsibilities A commitment to excellence in teaching and service to the university, department and/or discipline is expected of all non-tenure track faculty. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Teach undergraduate courses in the English Education program Serve as a liaison between partner schools and the English Education program Supervise English Education candidates in clinical experiences during field placements Engage in service to the program and department Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines. Required Qualifications A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in English Education or a closely related discipline is required. At least 3 years teaching experience OR A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in English with an undergraduate degree in English Education or a closely related teacher preparation field is required At least 3 years teaching experience OR A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required.
