About Us: Kendall Physical Therapy is a local clinic that is rapidly growing and is owned and operated by a Doctor of Physical Therapy from UIC. The aim of Kendall Physical Therapy is to offer high-quality, one-to-one personal physical therapy between therapists and patients. Responsibilities: - Provide 1:1 physical therapy to patients- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.- Administer therapeutic exercises to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function.- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for home exercises and self-care.- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.- Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with professional standards with OptimisPT software. Requirements: - Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist.- Experience working in a hospital, out-patient or healthcare setting is preferred, but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.- Ability to perform trigger point therapy and other manual therapy techniques. Willingness to learn and possibly become certified in dry needling, cupping therapy, myofascial release, and Graston technique.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.- Strong problem-solving skills to develop appropriate treatment plans for each patient's unique needs.- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
