About The Position A level I trauma center is seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Maywood, Illinois, which is incredibly close to Chicago. An IL license at the time of submission is highly preferred and a COVID vaccine is required. The clinician must be able to perform therapeutic procedures such as ERCP and EUS. The schedule is Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 5:30pm. The EMR system is EPIC. The credentialing timeframe is 3 months. The required procedures include Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry, Esophageal Manometry Interpretation, Small Bowel Biopsy, Lower GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube, Capsule Deployment, Bravo, PH Impedance, Breath test Interpretation, Esophageal, Anorectal Manometry Interpretation, and Endoflip.
