This outpatient role in a community health center offers a fulfilling environment where you will work with diverse patient populations, including vulnerable groups such as migrants and refugees.
Start Date: March 3, 2025 (or as soon as credentialed).Duration: Initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension.Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours per week).
No call requirements.Patient Volume: Up to 21 patients per day.Patient Age Range: Newborns to geriatrics.Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, and access to pediatricians and administrators.Charting System: Epic EMR.Responsibilities: Deliver outpatient ambulatory care, including chronic disease management and walk-in/acute care services.Perform basic procedures such as injections, IUD placements, and minor wound care.Provide compassionate care to diverse populations, supported by onsite interpretive services.Hit the ground running with a one-week orientation period, transitioning into full patient care by day three.Requirements: Board Certification: Family Practice (BC required).Licenses & Certifications: Active Washington state license, DEA, BLS, ACLS.Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Family Practice Physician with recent face-to-face patient care experience.Vaccinations: COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are mandatory.Languages: Spanish or Russian proficiency is a plus but not required.Background Check: Must have a clean record with no malpractice issues.Compensation: Competitive hourly rateTravel support, including flights, rental cars or mileage, and lodging.Why This Opportunity?
