This role is onsite 5 days a week in Milpitas, CA About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Strategy & Operations Manager to work closely with our operations management team.
This role is designed for someone who can drive both day-to-day efficiency improvements and also build the playbook that will help support the company's rapid growth.
The successful candidate will lead initiatives focused on process improvement, data-driven decision making, and operational scalability, ensuring our managers are well-equipped to tackle the evolving challenges of a rapidly growing business.
Key Responsibilities Operational Strategy & Execution: Work with the Director of Logistics and site managers to develop and execute projects for scaling Logistics operations efficiently.
Some projects include - expanding deliveries into new markets, electrification of the current fleet, improving overall driver safety etc. Data-Driven Optimization: Utilize data analytics to identify key performance metrics, optimize delivery routes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency across multiple sites. Process Improvement: Implement continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with HR, product, tech, accounting and finance teams to integrate operational strategies with broader company goals. Change Management: Lead initiatives to transform operations teams from a reactive, operational focus to a more strategic and forward-thinking mindset. Project Management: Manage and execute strategic projects that span across multiple locations and teams. Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational success and provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
MBA or advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in operations strategy, business analytics, or related roles, preferably in logistics, delivery, or supply chain industries. Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring teams to become more strategic and data-driven. Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and influence teams at various levels. Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and work collaboratively with other departments. Experience with last-mile delivery operations or e-commerce is a plus. Points credits Compensation Range The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000 - $120,000 This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include any variable compensation elements.
