Logistics Software Trainer

Universal Logistics is looking to add a Software Trainer to the team!
In this role, you will be traveling to different terminals throughout the U.S. training them on a new software launching in our facilities.
This role does not require specific experience, but rather excellent people skills, effective communication and the ability to speak publicly; confidently and naturally.
Industry knowledge is preferred, however not required.
The ideal candidate should be highly organized, proficient in time management, possess excellent public speaking skills, and have knowledge of the business/industry to effectively create and articulate training programs.
Minimum Qualifications: Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to understand problems, convey ideas, and conduct training.High school diploma; a degree is supply chain, logistics, business, or related field is preferred but not required.Excellent presentation skills to present and handle training programs effectively.Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.Must be willing to work occasional after hours to assist with Software Release Deployments Must be willing and able to travel to field locations to conduct training sessions. Here's what a day-to-day would look like as the Software Trainer: Primary Responsibilities
Prepare and conduct training programs both virtually and onsite.Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Schedule and deploy training to intended personnel.Assess training needs and sign-off requirements.Provide post-training/implementation support.Create, coordinate, and follow a training timeline based on business requirements.Continuously create new training content based on system/business requirements.Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle across the company.Maintain an accurate, up-to-date record of employee's training progress and completion.Assist in the creation of Learning Management System and system self-service help.Traveling to all markets as needed for software launches and support.
