Job Summary: Assists in the preparation of accurate, competitive low voltage construction bids by utilizing the latest state-of-the-art equipment.Directly contributes to the success of the company by working with the Operations Manager, Estimating and Management Team to win awards and to build and sustain relationships with clients.Works closely with the Operations Manager/Estimating Department to maintain estimating data, establish and maintain standardized estimating practices, and foster a solid team approach within the department.Position Qualifications: Meets one of the following education requirements:Associates degree in a construction or electrical engineering related discipline, ORAt least 1 year of low voltage construction/service field trade experience/training/education, OREquivalent combination of the above.High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.Experience: At least 1 year of Low Voltage construction drawing knowledge.Preferred: Applicant who lives in the Omaha, Nebraska Metropolitan Area. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Able to comprehend applicable construction documents.Work well in team atmosphere.Computer Skills: Must have accurate typing skills and be proficient in using internet, email, word processing, and spreadsheet applications, specifically Microsoft products (Windows, Word, Excel) and be willing to learn new software applications.  Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screen.Must be able to satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check.  Must be able to meet P1 qualifications to operate a vehicle on company business.
