Machine Maintenance Technician

Position Summary Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you'll oversee all aspects of shop and machine upkeep, including occasional grounds maintenance.
Key Responsibilities Repairing and servicing 3 and 5 axis CNC milling machines Ensuring the continuous operation of machinery, tools, and equipment Executing preventative maintenance programs and diagnosing issues Enforcing OSHA standards and safety protocols within the department Maintaining detailed records of repairs and machine checks Monitoring and preserving company-owned machine tools Meeting quality and production targets Managing machine supplies such as oils, filters, and bearings Contributing to special projects and addressing building maintenance concerns Maintaining regular and punctual attendance Adhering to OSHA safety regulations and ITAR compliance Additional duties as assigned Required Skills Extensive familiarity with Siemens 840D controllers, Siemens Step 7 PLC, and Heidenhain CNC 530 controller Proficiency in interpreting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics Ability to work independently or in a team setting Demonstrating personal credibility and effectiveness Effective communication skills within the team Comprehensive understanding of CNC machines and basic facility maintenance Requirements Flexibility to work overtime when required Capability to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds Education High School Diploma or equivalent
