Job DescriptionJob descriptionJob Summary:We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a contract position at a well-established bagel bakery.
The role involves ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of bakery-specific equipment and general facility upkeep.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of bakery equipment including dough mixers, formers, ovens, kettles, toasters, and refrigeration units.Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or operational issues and execute necessary repairs swiftly to minimize production downtime.Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the bakery facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.Manage relationships with external repair services when in-depth specialist intervention is required.Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities, parts replacements, and equipment performance for client review.Recommend equipment upgrades or process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
