The Corporate Securities Group of the General Counsel's Organization is seeking a Manager & Counsel to advise on corporate securities and transactional matters.
Here's just some of what you will do in this role:
Provide legal and strategic counsel on a wide range of corporate transactions and disclosure issues
Support the company's disclosures and investor communications
Advise on capital markets transactions, investments and financings, including asset-backed securitizations and credit facilities
Draft and review agreements and governance documents
Manage processes for regulatory filings and securities law compliance
Monitor securities law and industry developments
Collaborate with colleagues within the General Counsel's Organization and across the enterprise
Skills and Qualifications:
J.D.
with admission to practice law in New York
3 years' work experience in a law firm or in-house corporate legal department in one or more of the following practices: securities, capital markets, structured finance, corporate finance
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly and concisely to non-specialists
Interest in developing a deep understanding of business needs and objectives with a close partnership with business clients
Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills and ability to work well in cross-functional team settings
Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands while maintaining high attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Willingness and flexibility to be a team player and take on new responsibilities and challenges

Qualifications
Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually bonus benefits
