Job Responsibilities: Understand and uphold AP brand objectives, story, and guidelines Develop and implement sales strategies to meet short- and long-term goals, grow accounts, and identify new business opportunities Engage with Key Accounts and prospect new accounts to drive distribution, programming, visibility, and training Expand distribution, depletions, and revenue across on- and off-premise channels within the territory Maintain regular sales contact with key customers and prospects; conduct distributor work-withs to align on brand standards Lead business reviews with distributors and Key Accounts, addressing needs and aligning on targets Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of sales plans Keep accurate records of distributor profiles, market activity, and pricing Provide regular reports and insights on market performance, growth, and key metrics to the AP Regional Sales Manager Submit weekly account updates, monthly calendars, and sales planners Manage sales budgets, including T&E and A&P, ensuring cost-effective investment and continuous ROI evaluation Territory: Highest Priority is Arizona, but also New Mexico and Nevada Ideal Candidate Profile: Preferred 5 or more years of sales experience in the alcohol beverage industry – spirits sales preferred BA degree or equivalent experience Comprehensive understanding of how the beverage alcohol business functions, especially in the California market Strong sales and account management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing a territory and achieving revenue targets Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with Key Accounts, understand their needs and build long-term relationships Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify client challenges, propose innovative solutions and drive business growth Strong negotiation and influencing skills to navigate relationships and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
