The Marketing Team at Flushing Bank is responsible for the Marketing and Corporate Communications for the Company. This includes the entire marketing management process including development/enhancement, implementation and promotion of Bank's products and services, customer communications, advertising, event management, and public relations.
The Marketing Associate will develop and execute a broad array of marketing activities and programs in support of business objectives. The Marketing Associate will have responsibilities for the project timeline, agency, suppliers, budget, and the tracking and reporting of program results. Excellent attention to detail and working knowledge of all facets of marketing including traditional advertising and digital media channels is required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS :
The Marketing Associate should be organized, creative, and analytical. Must be self-motivated and be familiar with the financial services industry. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential. Strong interpersonal skills needed to operate in a team-oriented environment. A working knowledge of creative and design tools to create innovative advertisements and branding collateral. Event management experience is a plus. Prior work at an advertising agency or in a client services environment is preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES : • Develop and implement marketing plans and programs to support business objectives
• Represent Marketing on cross-functional teams
• Manage marketing requests from various business units
• Maintain Marketing and Events Calendar
• Design promotional and advertising materials
• Manage the production, delivery, and inventory of promotional items
• Prepare presentations to update management on marketing programs
• Track and report program results; make recommendations for future program enhancements
• Research competitor activities
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining marketing collateral and "give-away" inventory
• Prepare marketing bulletins and internal announcements
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Pay Range $60,000.00 - $70,000.00
Hours: 37.50
This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime if hours worked are over 40 hours.
The actual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience and other factors permitted by law.
