Position Summary
The Private Wealth Management ("PWM") business is a specialty business within Morgan Stanley Wealth Management that is exclusively focused on the $10MM+ domestic client segment and the international client segment.
The candidate will join the PWM UHNW Business Development Team in Private Wealth Management which has broad responsibility for Private Wealth Management, International Wealth Management and Family Office Resources marketing.The Team is responsible for developing client retention and acquisition strategies, business development tools, and resources that foster client engagement and support the advisors to grow their UHNW business.The candidate will play a critical role managing communications and supporting the team with special projects in partnership with the PWM business, Corporate Communications and other key stakeholders.Responsibilities include:
·Draft and consolidate internal email communications for PWM business, including weekly and monthly newsletters, ad-hoc memos and advisor calls
·Develop talking points for PWM Senior Management and craft messaging for internal presentations
·Lead weekly communications call with business partners and manage communications calendar
·Support marketing initiatives for Family Office Resources, a division of specialty services for UHNW clients, including event administration & execution, digital programs, marketing materials, webcasts and industry reports
·Active in PWM social and digital channels, including content promotion through Hearsay Social, Next Best Action and client communication
·Manage internal compliance review and approvals for projects and published materials Responsible for competitor and industry market research, including summarizing reports and identifying key insights
·Support Private Wealth Management Marketing on special projects, such as digital initiatives, sponsorship opportunities in key wealth markets and events
·Track usage metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and to increase engagement
·Maintain intranet sites across all PWM specialty businesses
Experience
·A minimum of 2 to 4 years of Communications or Marketing experience; a plus if some experience in finance, specifically wealth management or the ultra high net worth industry
·Strong track record of academic and professional excellence and achievement

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $60000 and $70000 per year at the commencement of employment.However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
