The Marketing Operations Manager plays a vital role in supporting the operational excellence of MongoDB's Marketing Organization. In this cross-functional role, you will serve as our Marketing Automation Platform's primary architect/administrator, taking ownership of its configuration, maintenance, and optimisation to meet evolving business needs. You'll also play a critical role in the broader marketing technology architecture, assessing new tools, managing integrations, and continuously identifying opportunities to improve marketing performance in support of the company goals. This role will be based remotely in the United States or the United Kingdom. Main Responsibilities Serve as the primary architect and administrator for the MAP (Marketo), configuring, maintaining, and optimising its use within the organisation Partner with campaign teams to design custom solutions, complex workflows, and integrations within Marketo to meet unique campaign requirements Continuously identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency in campaign execution, optimising workflows, automation, and processes to increase campaign effectiveness and reduce manual efforts Actively contribute to decisions on the overall marketing technology architecture. Aiming to improve data health and availability while increasing marketing's impact Oversee data hygiene processes, ensuring accurate, reliable data flow across systems, focusing on customer segmentation and personalisation capabilities Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and develop a roadmap for evolving MAP capabilities and new technology needs Lead vendor selection, procurement and onboarding for tools. Serve as the primary point of contact with MAP support and Customer Success teams. Create and deliver training sessions for marketing team members on Marketo best practices, and maintain comprehensive documentation for custom workflows, processes, and integrations Proactively plan and organize system audits and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of Marketo and its integrations Requirements 5+ Years of experience in Marketing Operations, with extensive hands-on expertise in MAP administration and architecture Demonstrated experience building mature, scalable Marketo environments that support advanced segmentation, lead processing, lead nurturing, and cross-channel marketing Experience across a variety of marketing technologies (Eloqua, Marketo, CVent, Workato, Segment, Intercom, 6sense, etc.) integrated with Salesforce.com Experience working with an iPaaS solution like Workato, Tray, Mulesoft, etc Demonstrated expertise in building mature marketing technology stacks, integrating marketing tools to support business objectives, and establishing scalable processes Excellent organisational skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across non-executive levels Natural drive for innovation and creative problem-solving Bachelor's Degree focusing in Business or Computer Science preferred Bonus Points Hold Marketo certification(s) Experience with both B2B and B2C Intermediate knowledge and experience using SQL and APIs Master's Degree or some programming experience Experience with Salesforce.com Administration Experience with CDPs (Segment, mParticle, Treasure Data, etc...) Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB's total compensation and benefits package.
