Mechanical Drafter 1

This position is a member of the Engineering Department. The Layout Drafter/Mechanical Drafter will report directly to the Mechanical Engineering Team Leader.
Job Description Primary Responsibilities: Produce finished AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks drawings, including general arrangements, sketches, mark-ups, preliminary layouts, and proposal drawings.Work with mechanical engineers to perform all drawing requests.Ensure drawings are of quality work, conforming to Bartell standards.Update marked up drawings or legacy prints (RPG requests) as required.Provide accurate data entry of information between D365 and point(s) of origin.Create Bartell part numbers as required.Create item masters for all new purchased components.Ensure standardization and quality of inputs.Job Requirements: Education: High School DiplomaAutoCAD and SolidWorks training from a two-year program, technical school, or relevant certifications.Basic understanding of drafting standards and GD&T.Working knowledge of D365.Experience creating 2D and 3D CAD content.Excellent communication skills.Extremely meticulous and detail-oriented.Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.Travel Requirements: 0%
