As a Medior Back-end Developer at Donna, you'll be a vital part of our team, working together to build the AI copilot for sales teams and to empower them to focus on what they do best - selling.
Expect to tackle a variety of challenges in back-end engineering and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into our products. Your objective will be to ensure our product remains scalable and performant, contributing to an optimal user experience.
You'll join our ambitious Donna team as one of the first hires. This means you'll have the opportunity to be part of an early stage start-up and to learn from experienced serial entrepreneurs.
If you're ready to embark on an exciting journey from the early days and make a significant impact in a growing team with global ambitions, Donna is the place for you!
Tasks A non-exhaustive list of features we could use your help with:
Design and implement the overall architecture of our web applications, ensuring they are responsive and maintain high-quality code standards. Building integration with LLM API's and assisting in prompting to get the most out of our AI features. Implement logging and user tracking where we can - we are hyper-focused on our users and we want to track as much as possible. Adding support for new data source ingestion and assisting in maintaining clarity in our data layer. Experiment with new technologies to get the most out of our stack. We believe in shipping fast to gather feedback quickly from our customers. We focus more on building the right product than building the product right.
We like to keep things simple, so we leverage as much as possible the services offered by key vendors.
You'll report directly to our co-founder & CTO, but you'll work together with other departments (and customers) in detailing the requirements of features and make trade-offs together in order to maximize value while minimizing complexity.
Requirements We're looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience building full stack applications. You are fluent in Typescript, Node.js and SQL. Experience with meta-frameworks like Remix or Next.js is a plus. We have data-heavy back-end, so a good data affinity is important. Any experience with data pipelines and data architectures will be a big help. Having worked in another start-up or scale-up is a plus. It is important you can embrace the start-up culture. While we try to keep technical debt in check, there are times we need to ship quickly and make pragmatic tradeoffs. You're able to slice big initiatives in small chunks so we can re-prioritize along the way in case important opportunities arise. You have strong problem-solving abilities and a go-getter mentality that embraces challenges. Collaboration is key for us, so we're looking for people that are fun to work with, have a lot of expertise and are open to other people's opinions. We have global ambitions so fluency in English is a must. Benefits You will be able to work with super cool AI based and other state of the art tech, that will change the world of SalesTech! As one of the first hires of Donna, you'll be able to witness our growth from the first row.
