The Member Service Associate represents the best of Columbia Credit Union and is the first to interact in person with our membership.
This position is committed to providing the highest level of individualized service by placing the member first.
Performs a variety of transactions while listening closely to our members unique requirements.
Knowledgeable about Columbia Credit Union products and services with the ability to communicate features and benefits as a recommendation to our membership.Provide creative solutions to our membership as we strive to "Make Life Better", ensuring they receive exceptional service in a friendly, efficient manner.

This position requires previous customer service experience.
Banking experience is a plus.
Requires availability Monday through Friday 8:30am to 6:30pm AND Saturday 8:30am to 2:00pm.
This position is a for available locations in Clark County.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Accurately process member transactions and requests.
Responsibilities include but not limited to; operation of computers, navigation of varied software programs, maintaining coin machine and ATM, servicing Drive-up Window, Vault activity etc.Maintain up-to-date knowledge on all credit union products and services and through active listening, recommend Columbia Credit Union products and services to "Make Life Better" for our membership.Process account maintenance requests for members to include address changes, transaction and account research.Educate and assist members with all digital related products and services.Adhere to Columbia Credit Union Service Standards.Knowledge of and compliance with Currency Transaction Reporting requirements and Columbia's Bank Secrecy Act compliance program.Exercise independent judgment within set authorizations.Identify and refer members to our business partners in Home Loans, Insurance & Investment and Business Services.Participate in cross-functional projects, promotions and training.Perform additional tasks as assigned by manager commensurate with position. REQUIREMENTS Proficient communication skills both verbal and writtenComputer literacyProfessional, neat in appearance with an enthusiastic attitudeAbility to meet or exceed Columbia's sales expectationsDetail oriented and ability to handle multiple tasksMust be team orientedFlexibility in scheduling; must be reliably available to work critical days, including Saturday & hours as needed, including split week schedule.
Must be available to attend staff meetings when scheduled COMPENSATION $18.00-18.50/ hour - range for MSA I$1,000 Signing and Retention Bonus potential Eligible for quarterly performance incentives.
