MEP Senior Design Engineer Employment Type: Direct Hire
Location: Plano, TX 75075
Schedule: 100% on-site for the first couple of months, transitioning to a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH).
Option of either five 8-hour days or four 9-hour day work weeks.

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a talented MEP Senior Design Engineer for a direct hire position with our client.
This role is based in Plano, TX, and offers a mix of on-site and hybrid work once initial onboarding is complete.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop HVAC, gas, chiller, and plumbing systems.Conduct field assessments and evaluate project scope.Prepare detailed project proposals and manage Requests for Information (RFIs).Maintain strong communication and collaboration with clients.Work independently while contributing to the broader engineering team on various projects. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is required.Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred or at least started; Professional Engineer (PE) certification would be a plus.A Senior Designer with 8-10 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and gas systems design.Strong communication skills are crucial—the ability to articulate and collaborate effectively with engineers and architects.Long-term commitment is highly valued.Some project management skills would be ideal, with potential for growth in this area.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and Trane Trace is required.
