Metrology Technician

Now Hiring: Metrology Technician Location: Hampton, VA Position Type: Contract to Hire (6 months) Shift: 1st Shift (No weekends – 40 hrs per week) Pay Rate: $30 - $35/hr (Depending on Experience) Benefits: Insurance Offered (Medical, Dental, Vision, etc.) We are seeking full-time Metrology Technicians to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and operating vision inspection systems.
\n Responsibilities:Conduct receiving inspections, in-process inspections, final inspections, and first article inspectionsUse Optical Gauging Smart Scope and Keyence Vision Systems for inspectionsProgram and operate vision inspection systemsEnsure inspections are performed in compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Must Have:Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)US citizenship (due to ITAR site requirements)Hands-on experience with vision inspection systemsExperience in programming vision inspection systems Nice to Haves:SAP experienceAS9102 experienceExperience with touch probesFamiliarity with ASME Y 14.3
