Responsibilities:Raw materials and finished product analysis at different stages in processing/production areas for microbiological parameters, conduct internal audits, ensure GMP & sanitization of processing area, and provide training on microbial control and sanitization.Develop and implement microbiological testing protocols for raw materials, finished products, environmental samples, personnel, and machinery.Conduct microbial analysis including culturing, identification, and enumeration of microorganisms.Monitor and report on microbial trends and anomalies in oils and fats products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve microbial contamination issues.Implement and maintain sanitation and hygiene programs to prevent microbial contamination in processing areas.Develop and implement protocols for margarine & whip topping product range including raw materials, finished products, personnel, and machinery.Develop and deliver training programs for production staff on microbial control and sanitization.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., FDA, FSSAI, GFSI, etc.).Participate in audits and inspections to ensure facility compliance.Ensure clearance of CIP programs with respect to microbial requirements.Dimensions:Clearance of product with respect to microbial testing for raw materials and finished goods in the plant.Endorse cleaning and sanitization in processing and storage areas.Compliance of the products with respect to microbial requirements.100% adherence to sanitization and hygiene requirements.Zero critical and major non-conformities during customer/regulatory audits.Qualifications:Master's or advanced degree in microbiology, food science, or related field.Strong knowledge of food microbiology, microbial ecology, and sanitization.Experience with microbiological testing methods (e.g., PCR, ELISA, culturing).Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and food regulations.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.3-5 years of experience in a similar field as a microbiologist.Company Overview: Bunge (NYSE: BG) is a world leader in sourcing, processing, and supplying oilseed and grain products and ingredients.
