This is a freelance remote position. MovieWeb keeps users connected to all their favorites, past, present, and future. As a top social entertainment network, MovieWeb is revolutionizing the way you DISCOVER, WATCH and DISCUSS the movies you love. Please note that this role does not involve video editing or script editing. Responsibilities: Assure there is content to be published and planned on current News topicsParticipate in writer development and general writer managementOversee and facilitate writer communication in Slack/AsanaSend feedback to writers according to MovieWeb's standards (as per our writing guides)Work with new writers to develop their skills and help them adapt to MovieWeb's standardsWork with existing writers to develop those suitable for internal development (staff writing, self-publishing, editing)Auditing Content Value and implementing best practicesEnsure daily and monthly News output goals are metIdeation and news sourcing supportMust be available weekendsOnly applicants who possess the necessary skills and experience will be contacted, and only applications containing a resume and cover letter will be considered.
