Overview:
The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team.
Schedule: This is a casual position and will help with the needs of the department.
Location: M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center in Maple Grove, MN.

Responsibilities/Job Description:
Maintains patient care
Performs examinations
Identifies relevant data from images accurately
Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional.
Ensures patient safety and emergency preparedness
Documents patient information
Ensures accurate film identification on all images
Accurately completes computer functions-edits, status changes, logging
Accurate film marking and jacket preparation
Achieves quality diagnostic images by use of accurate positioning of patients and correct operation of equipment.
Performs training and education duties
Participates in the orientation of new employees.
Responsible for the training of students
Participates in the training of health care professionals and new employees.
Maintains equipment
Correctly operates and optimizes the use of equipment
Understands the structure visualized and its significance
Qualifications:
Required: ARRT Certification
Meet MRI Safety Screen requirements
Basic Life Support (BLS) - from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred: Additional education in Imaging or Healthcare
1 year of experience
MRI Certification within 18 months of hire or transfer to the role
