At LCRA, we are seeking skilled Technicians for Construction oversight and eventual Operations & Maintenance for LCRA's peaking power plant! This peaking plant will consist of Wartsila 18V50SG reciprocating engines. This role will have the outstanding opportunity to be responsible for contractor activities during construction and commissioning of the new power plant. This knowledge and experience will be helpful for your efforts in operating and maintaining the facility after commissioning. You will be trusted to:
- Communicate between Contractors, Engineering, and fellow LCRA Teammates
- Work closely with construction team to identify and communicate any issues
- Use basic digital literacy for communications, training, and administrative duties
- Utilize a technical skill set (mechanic, electrician, I&C) for maintenance duties
- Operate engineered systems for power production
You qualify with:
Positions located in Dam & Hydro power plants:
- Six or more years of experience in dam & hydro power plant operations or dam & hydro power plant maintenance, or industrial operations or industrial maintenance, including two or more years in the craft discipline in the assigned area of specialty.
- Driver's license

- Experience with LOTO Processes
