DWS Drone School, Inc., (DWS), (www.dwsdroneschool.com) is a global drone and virtual reality technology school whose corporate office is located in Wilmington, Delaware. Currently, we have school training locations in Wilmington, Delaware, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Stockbridge, Georgia, and Memphis, Tennessee, and have been approved as the only drone school of its kind to be approved by the United States Dept. of Veterans Affairs to train United States veterans. DWS Drone School offers classes with its proprietary curriculum put together by commercial airline pilots who are flight instructors and drone licensed operators, that cover everything from flying techniques, editing data, starting a drone business to learning the aeronautical information and FAA rules and regulations a student will need to know to become an FAA Part 107 licensed drone operator.
The Director of Sales and Marketing responsibilities include, among other things, developing plans to help establish our brand, allocating resources to different projects, and setting short-term and long-term department goals. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of marketing and sales, is willing to work closely with the owner of the company to build a sustainable business, and enjoys working in a start-up environment.
Duties:Create a marketing strategy based on business goals and initiativesMake calls and respond in a timely way to all current and potential inquiriesCreate blogs, press releases, presentations, email, marketing, and other contentPrepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that include goal tracking and marketing campaign trackingDevelop pricing and sales strategiesDevelop and implement an email marketing strategyDevelop and manage all social media accounts and content calendarsEnsure brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts including affiliate schoolsAnalyze consumer behavior and create a customer journey that converts and engagesIdentify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market shareSkills and Qualifications:5+ years of experienceBachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field and/or equal relevant experienceSelf-directed, resourceful, and creativeKnowledgeable of social media trends and social sellingKnowledgeable of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)Comfortable with Google AnalyticsKnowledge of CRM and CMS managementCommunications and public relations experienceGood command of the English languageBonus Points: Passion for drones and emerging technologiesCompensation: $25/Hour for 15 Hours per week.
