Application Architect/Technical Lead - Cards remote type Hybrid locations Kansas City MO time type Full time time left to apply End Date: October 19, 2024 (21 days left to apply) job requisition id R-5824 UMB Bank NA seeks an Application Architect for Kansas City, MO, with option to telecommute, anywhere within US.
Responsibilities: The Application Architect will define and execute technical strategy for card related solutions to align with the product and business strategy.
Lead and drive solution recommendations using gap analyses across multiple technology options.
Serve as a technical subject matter expert for UMB's enterprise and card processor system.
Interact with the vendor team to resolve technical issues and serve as a technical point of contact.
Maintain strong relationships with other teams within the technology organization to partner and collaborate during problem resolutions.
Participate in ongoing system upgrades and patches as needed.
Deliver on "Business As Usual" (BAU) commitments as outlined on the BAU Roadmap.
Provide technical direction and mentorship to team members.
Perform additional application architecture duties, as assigned.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Seven years' progressive experience which must include experience in the following, concurrently: Software development including system architecture.
3 years of experience in SOA.
TSYS card processing platform.
Web Services architectures, system integrations and implementation.
Executing complex solutions from design through implementation.
Position also requires the following: Demonstrated knowledge of Banking Payments domain and understanding of complex technical aspects of the holistic card processing system including but not limited to data flows, batch processing, integrations and security, and Demonstrated ability to understand risk and impact to business processes during production issues.
