As a New Business Initiatives Senior Business Accountability Specialist, you will be supporting the CSBB businesses that own or support customer facing products.
In this role, you will: + You will work closely with the product owners, Independent Risk Management partners, Corporate Risk Type owners and subject matter experts for products and risks. You will utilize your vast experience and knowledge of the Risk Management Framework to help the business identify and mitigate risk associated with the development, modification, or retirements of customer facing products
+ Your responsibilities will include managing a pipeline of product assessments, both changes and annual product monitoring review and leading the business through the complexities of the NBI Policy, procedures and the Risk Assessment of New Business Initiatives ( RANBI ) system application
+ Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within business and contribute to large-scale, cross-functional planning related to mitigation of current and emerging business risk issues and concerns
+ Assess, analyze, and design moderately complex controls, protocols, and approaches with respect to risk mitigation and the control environment, including ensuring effective planning for sustainability, ongoing control adherence, reporting, measurement, technology impacts, and monitoring
+ Independently make decisions and resolve moderately complex issues while leveraging solid understanding of the business's functional area or products, operations, and regulatory environment; facilitate decision-making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans; lead peers and key business partners to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
+ Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to address current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance or support in interpreting, developing, and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
+ Partner with peers and the business in interactions with external parties to support appropriateness and timeliness of response, and effectiveness of communications and materials
+ May serve as a mentor for lower-level staff
Required Qualifications: + 4+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications: + Knowledge and understanding of Risk Management Framework, risks and mitigating controls, and inherent versus residual risk
+ Experience in NBI or other enterprise risk programs
+ Exposure to Wells Fargo's Shared Risk Platform ( SHRP ), including Risk Assessments of New Business Initiatives ( RANBI )
+ Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
+ Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
+ Strong collaboration and partnering skills
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Pay Range: + New York: $100,000 – $179,200 Annually
Pay Range $84,000.00 – $179,200.00
