School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with students, teachers, and families to support the communication and language development of students with diverse needs. Key Responsibilities: Assess students speech and language abilities and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs. Provide direct therapy services to students in various educational settings. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance each students communication skills and overall academic performance. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive educational environment. Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders. Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the relevant state. ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience working with children, particularly in a school setting, is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
