Non-Profit Rehabilitation Specialist( Off-Site Non-Residential)

At least one-year experience working in the mental health/psychosocial rehabilitation field.
The position requires direct hands-on, direct care work with individuals diagnosed with mental illness you would have a caseload of 10 people for whom you would assist with case management and goal work that is individualized to that person's needs (i.e.
physical health, symptom management, independent living skills, etc.).
Full time-time, Monday through Friday (40 hours per week) The position offers great flexibility with hours between 7am-7pm, Monday-Friday.
With this flexibility, you have the ability to create your own schedule.
The position is mostly independent work that is completed off-site with the client (not within the building).
We serve Anne Arundel County and Bowie and are required to use our own vehicles when agency vehicles are not available.

The Off-site Rehabilitation Specialist is an important and integral staff position at Arundel Lodge in creating the culture and quality of life that is experienced by the members of Arundel Lodge.
The day-to day job responsibilities of a Rehabilitation Specialist in the Off-Site Program include tasks like transportation, assisting with money management, diet coaching, case management, symptom management, assistance with ADL's, and teaching life skills, BUT the most critical thing that a Rehabilitation Specialist does at Arundel Lodge is to assist people in their journey of recovery from mental illness, physical illness, and substance abuse.
