Position will start off working 100% Onsite in Houston, TX and will move to a hybrid working model later on, so applications MUST already be located in Houston, TX and open to this work schedule requirement New Position for a new Department Short Summary of Position: Seeking someone with a combination of IT/technical skills (Python for data analysis), Operational knowledge and domain knowledge (Aftermarket/Manufacturing) to bridge the gap between systems, & provide actionable insights or improvements for a brand new department at a major company in Houston, TX. They are working on defining the direction for this department, which oversees a global manufacturing and distribution network. (This role will fall under their newly established operations excellence division).The focus is on analyzing the entire distribution network, the interactions between manufacturing sites, global parts procurement and distribution, and customer service processes. Looking for this resource to have: Strong persuasive, communication & presentation skills who has worked on projects from start to finish and presented their findings to various levels of upper management and stakeholders.Must have strong skills using python (at least 3-years) for data analysis, manipulation, automation, and process improvements. At least 8 years of experience in a business-process role.Education Requirement: Bachelors degree in data science, business, or related field (MBA is preferred).
