Office Services Assistant

(Contract: Temporary | Monday – Friday: 40 hours a week | Onsite: Washington, DC | Duration: 6 months| Start Date: 10/28/24 | Pay Range: $21 hourly) Lawyers on Demand (LOD) is seeking an Office Services Assistant (with Catering experience) to support one of our global clients in delivering the highest level of service to internal and external clients alike.
This active, hands-on role requires standing, walking, lifting, and maneuvering around the office for most of the shift. Roles and Responsibilities: Stock, organize, and replenish supplies including coffee, tea, bottled beverages, dry snacks, fresh fruit, paper goods, and break room suppliesCheck inventory levels daily and anticipate needs; submit orders and rectify office supply deliveriesUnpack items and properly store inventory on shelves, in the refrigerator, and in pantriesPrepare and set up daily refreshments in break rooms and pantriesMaintain organization of all supply cabinets, pantries, closets, and storage areasRestock conference room suppliesSet up conference rooms with refreshments and supplies for meetingsMaintain tidiness of lobby and common office spacesReport any maintenance or facilities issues you notice to the Facilities ManagerAdhere to the purchasing budgets for office supplies and snack itemsParticipate in any facilities projects or tasks as needed Requirements: High school diploma or GED requiredAbility to lift to 40 lbs., maneuver carts/dollies, and bend/stretch to reach itemsExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detailProfessional demeanor and communication skillsAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyWillingness and ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, and maneuver around the office for extended periodsKnowledge of general office practices and office equipment/suppliesSchedule:Full-time role, Monday to Friday7 am to 4 pm schedule (some flexibility required) Lawyers On Demand (LOD) offers flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, candidate's general skill set, applicability of candidate skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors.
A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
