Overview
Pittsburgh's 93.7 The Fan is seeking a full-time talk show host.
Candidates must have vast knowledge of the Pittsburgh sports scene, an engaging personality, excellent storytelling and an understanding of how to drive audience both over-the-air and through digital streams
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
* Contribute in an on-air role to The midday shift on 93.7 The Fan
* Contribute content - including but not limited to audio, video and written format - to 937thefan.com
* Creating original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative
* Use social media - including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram - during the course of your shift to connect with listeners, promote upcoming stories and interviews, and to highlight station content
* Make station appearances as required
* Work with sales and promotions departments to develop sponsored sports opportunities.
* Other duties as required by management.
Qualifications
More About You:
* Candidates should have previous radio experience and success or equivalent experience in a related sports profession
* Possess personality and the ability to drive strong opinions in an entertaining and information fashion
Required and Preferred:
* An excellent communicator with strong creative skills
* Knowledge of studio audio equipment necessary for on-air execution
* Knowledge of the format and audience required
