This position is onsite working from our Moorestown, NJ office. JOB SUMMARY: This is a clerical position in which the nature of work is imaging payment and non-payment mail utilizing a commercial payment processing machine, creating and balancing bank deposits resulting from the inbound mail, and responding to customer correspondence.
1. Payment HandlingOperate commercial payment processing machine to image incoming mailDecipher payment data and post to consumer accounts (adhering to segregation of duties)Reconcile and/or deposit paymentsAudit vault to ensure all payments are posted2. Handle Non-payment mailReturn non-negotiable or non-postable payments with correspondenceRespond to customer correspondence with appropriate language and templates3. Tracking and ReportingIncoming payment data and outgoing deposits reportingIncoming correspondence and outgoing response reportOther duties as assignedMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: HS Diploma1 year of payment handling required, preferably in a high-volume business environment1 year customer service1 year in Microsoft WordPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 10-key machine experience with a 6,500 keystrokes per hour speedCommercial payment processing machine experience is preferredAdobe PDF experience is preferred
