Stantech Packaging Machines is currently looking for a Packaging Machine Field Service Engineer. If you the experienced, self-motivated, innovative and hard-working candidate, then please apply for the below job opening. Employment type: full-time
Location: Atlanta, GA area (only local candidates are considered)
This position will require 50% - 60% traveling.
Responsibilities: Provide mechanical and electrical service supportInstalling and commissioning of packaging equipment at customer siteReceiving / responding to service calls and troubleshooting over the phonePerforming factory acceptance testsSupport in establishing a upgrade program for installed machines. What will put you ahead? ·      2-year Technical Degree from an accredited college or trade school in a mechanically based technical major, OR 5 years of experience in machine manufacturing environment with service experience
·      Experience working in case packaging, cartooning equipment, and robotics, understanding of Allen Bradley PLC's, in the machinery industry.
·      Field work experience in the petrochemical, power generation, pulp & paper, or food processing industries
·      Great communication and interacting skills.
·      Ability to read CAD drawings and wiring diagrams.
·      Ability to deliver in a ´´high-pressure´´ environment on client's site.
·      Ability to travel up to 80%
·      Valid driver´s license
·     Proven troubleshooting experience and problem-solving skills
Compensation and Benefits ·      Salary:$ 35.00-40,00 per hour plus overtime
·      Health insurance

·     Annual Bonus based on annual assessment and customer reviews
Working hours: ·      Monday to Friday 8.00h to 5pm.
