Under the direction of the Director of Engineering, this position is the Sr.
Engineer Painter with a focus on all property finishes Responsibilities Able to maintain a professional attitude and appearanceAssists with preventative maintenance and complete work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc., to maintain the Resort and keep the product up to quality standards.Performs preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.Assists in checking and making minor repairs to electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, television sets, lighting systems and makes minor repairs and or replacements.Assists in checking and making minor repairs on general plumbing systems and fixtures such as pipe lines, toilets, and sinks.Refurbishes furniture and fixtures within the property such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows and counters.
Paints and finishes as needed.Ability to install and or repair flooring such as ceramic tile, vinylAbility to work various shifts as the needs of the property change.Rooms PM as needs of the property require.Timely response on answering and reporting status (follow-up) on radio calls.Responsible for all assignments as delegated by the Director of Engineering or in his absence, the General Manager.Ability to inventory, track & safely store product.Ensure that the department complies with all applicable house rules and safety procedures.Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations including but not limited to OSHA, Federal, State and local authorities.
Ensure all reports are completed and submitted on time.Ensure the response to all maintenance requests in order to maintain the property in a safe and functioning state.Ability to relay information clearly.Must be willing and able to be responsive to guest issues and willing to pitch in and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.Assist all guests, guest functions, and all group set-ups as required.Lead in the daily operation, maintenance, service and repair of all related resort finishes.Assist in obtaining and securing competitive pricing of materials and equipment.Provide detailed progress reports on all action items generated from Director of Engineering.Proper handling and application of heavyweight wall-covering.Must provide own small hand tools.Any and all reasonable requests of management Qualifications Product knowledge and skills with applications, handling, finishing, patching, texturing, possible reactions and SDS logs.Ability to inventory, track and safely store products.Patching and texturing.Proper handling and application of Acrylics, Lacquers, Oils, Sealers, Water Proofing, hand applications and spraying including but not limited to associated machinery.3 - 4 years as a lead level finisher in a hospitality environment preferredBasic maintenance abilities required.Ability to take & follow instructionsGood customer service.Ability to self motivate and manage time & activity
