Trust and Estates Paralegal Location: Binghamton, NY Category: Legal Position Type: Full-time, Permanent Description: Our client is currently seeking a ­­­­Trust and Estates Paralegal to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position. Responsibilities Include: Identify, gather, and assess assets for estates, preparing necessary probate and accounting documents. File probate documents and manage associated dockets efficiently. Prepare federal and state personal income, fiduciary income, and estate tax returns to comply with legal requirements. Review and interpret wills and trust agreements in collaboration with attorneys, ensuring proper implementation. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree and paralegal certification are preferred. 3+ years experience in a medium to large size law firm is required. Excellent knowledge of estate and trust administration is a must. Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are required.
