Paralegal

Our client is a small but growing law firm specializing in elder law and estate planning.
They are dedicated to providing their clients with comprehensive legal support while fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
They are currently seeking a motivated Paralegal with 2+ years of experience to join our team.
They are looking for someone to stay at the firm for years to come!
Role: Paralegal (Trusts & Estates)
Location: Rye, New York
Schedule: First month or so in person, then hybrid (3 days in/2 days remote)
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 (will go higher in salary depending on experience!
)
Responsibilities: Will be taking an estate from beginning to end.
Pitch in on Medicaid applications.
Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, and third parties to gather information and provide updates on case status.
Maintain accurate and organized client files, ensuring compliance with legal standards and firm policies.
Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and assist with trial preparation as needed.
Legal drafting
Requirements: 2 or more years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on trusts/estates.
Needs to be able to know how to take an estate from beginning to end.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, etc.
)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
