Job Description

Avata Partners is seeking an experienced paralegal to work with a well-known law firm in Alameda, California.
The ideal candidate will be excited to work with a boutique firm in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and objectives will include: Prepare answer packets - Answer, Jury Fee, Form and Special Rogs, Documents Request and Request for Statement of Damages Prepare CMC, OSC, mediation review statements, etc.
Prepare substantive responses to all discover Work with clients to obtain detailed answers and document Assemble all documents to be produced Redact protected information, including all financial information, from insuring agreement.
Prepare motions as requested Prepare mediation statements Prepare mandatory settlement conference statements Prepare trial documents including jury instructions, standard motions in limine, state of case, exhibits lists and binders, witness list, verdict forms Assist in coordinating trial witnesses Calendaring such as trial dates, mediation dates, CMCs, OSC, hearings, etc.
The anticipated base salary for this position is $80,000.00 to $90,000.
The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
