New York City Office of regional law firm is looking for a Paralegal to work with the Case Management Team to analyze and advise clients on potential securities fraud claims.
This is a fantastic opportunity to really be an integral part of the firm and support multiple lines of business with client development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, BloombergLaw, AlphaSense, and other systemsProofread, cite-check/fact-check briefs, complaints, and other documentsPrepare, finalize, and file legal documentsAssist with retrieval of rules and regulationsOrganize and track case files, maintain reference files, and manage outlook calendar deadlinesProvide administrative assistance on other tasks within the department including support on RFPs and other client and business development mattersMaintain time entries in iTimeKeepE-filingQualifications/Requirements: At least 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm (securities litigation experience is a plus, as is case/client development experience) Plaintiff side preferred Experience with e-filing or assisting in e-filing in federal district courtsExperience and skills performing cite checking and BluebookingStrong research skills and proficiency in using various research tools including the Internet, Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, BloombergLaw, and other court and news-related sourcesStrong word processing and computer skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)The ability and willingness to work overtime to meet business needs, as neededOccasional flexibility with shifting work hoursAll employees must be vaccinated If you are qualified and interested to learn more, please provide an MS Word or PDF version of your resume to Jess Levinson at ******
