Paralegal - Personal Injury Law Firm

Seeking a skilled Personal Injury Paralegal with experience in Uniondale, NY. Duties involve evaluating personal injury claims, conducting client interviews, maintaining frequent communication with clients, acquiring and organizing medical records, as well as compiling demand packages. Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including pleadings and bills of particulars, and adept calendar management skills are vital. Familiarity with Filed Vine software is preferred. Spanish Speaking a plus. This role necessitates physical presence at our Uniondale office location.
Responsibilities
YOU will be responsible for 4 things:
Client development – intake calls & follow-up with existing clientsMastering our case management systemMeticulous follow-up for potential and existing clientsManage a caseload with timely follow-up for records, discovery, and case documentsThere are 3 Essential Requirements to work with our team:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentTechnologically Savvy – consultations, electronic filing, & Docu-Sign, you must be comfortable using technologyMust be comfortable being part of a high-performing team Qualifications Experience handling personal injury matters from intake to trial preparation, preferably with both legal and paralegal qualificationsProficiency in electronic filingExceptional communication and organizational skillsPrevious management experience is highly desirableAdept in negotiation techniquesAbility to drive the firm to higher levels of success Compensation $25.50 - $28.50 hourly
