Part-Time School Bus Driver

Tallulah Falls School is seeking an experienced and reliable part-time Bus Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations on established routes.

*Duties:*
* Safely operate a bus following a set schedule and route
* Ensure the bus is in good working condition before and after each trip
* Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus
* Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times
* Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior
* Communicate effectively with passengers and address any concerns or inquiries
* Keep accurate records of passenger counts, mileage, and fuel consumption

*Requirements:*
* High School Diploma or GED
* Possession of a commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
* Ability to pass a background check, DOT physical exam, drug and alcohol testing
* Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks on the bus
* Ability to drive safely in various weather conditions and traffic situations
* Proficient in reading and writing for route maps and communication purposes
* Experience working with children is a plus
* Knowledge of behavior management techniques for passenger interactions
* Registered with the Drug & Alcohol Clearing House for CDL Drivers
