The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school scheduleYEAR-ROUND.
Your Responsibilities

As aPart-Time Student Quality Engineer-TechnicalforJohn Deere Des Moines Workslocated inAnkeny, IA, you will...

Conduct weekly warranty reviews/analysis for Crop Care products
Work with warranty team to determine if action is required and drive resolution
Support Data Analysis Team (DAT) meetings with warranty data and Evidence Packages, Update SharePoint and Shared Drives 
Perform various analytical exercises that support Crop Care product teams and their efforts to reduce warranty

This position is not available to students on immigration visas.
What Skills You Need

Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited university
Graduation date of May 2026 or later
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
15-20 hours/week during the academic year
35-40 hours/week during the summer semester
Willingness to learn John Deere warranty tools and systems
Ideally you will be pursuing a STEM degree; others may apply

What Makes You Stand Out

High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Understanding of farming equipment and systems
Desire to resolve engineering problems
Good understanding of Excel (data manipulation and pivot tables)
Knowledge of PowerBI
