Responsibilities
• Assisting customers with their parts needs, invoicing and collecting payments, maintaining inventory, sourcing parts from various suppliers, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.• Providing technical advice to customers.• Tracking parts sales and working closely with the sales team to meet targets and goals.• Building and maintaining relationships with wholesale accounts, nurturing business opportunities.• Informing service advisors about parts statuses and delivering parts to technicians as required.• Answering phone calls, responding to texts and emails, and directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.• Properly tracking and shipping all warranty returns and cores.• Communicating effectively with other employees and departments to ensure smooth daily operations.• Staying up to date with Nissan Parts training and advancements to enhance knowledge and skills.• Delivering or picking up parts as requested and maintaining a trip log in the vehicle used for transportation.• Performing other tasks as needed to support the overall operations of the parts department.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive or technical education is a plus.• Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field is preferred.• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and provide accurate advice to customers.• Proficient in using inventory management systems and basic computer applications.• Knowledge of automotive parts and equipment, including familiarity with Nissan parts is an advantage.• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory and track orders.• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.• Reliable and responsible, with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no suspensions within the last 5 years.• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is necessary for this role.
